Dr. Gerges Fahmy earned his DVM degree from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at Cairo University in 2003. He established a mixed animal practice, serving both farm and companion animals, for 14 years before relocating to Canada in 2018. He became a member of the Canadian Veterinary Medical Association (CVMA) and the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA). Growing up in the countryside of Egypt in a large farmhouse filled with cats, dogs, and large animals, he has loved animals from a young age. He is passionate about helping animals and their owners. In May 2024, Dr. Fahmy launched his mobile clinic in Bracebridge and continues to serve Bracebridge and the surrounding areas. After moving to Barrie, he decided to expand his mobile clinic services to Barrie, Innisfil, Orillia, and nearby communities. As an animal lover, he aims to provide the highest quality care at an affordable cost. Outside of veterinary work, Dr. Gerges Fahmy enjoys continuing education and spending time with his family.
